Care Ministries

At Lake Avenue Church (LAC), we are excited to introduce our Care Ministries, a compassionate initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and families in their times of need. Our ministries aim to create loving, supportive relationships where every member of our community feels valued and connected to the LAC family. By fostering holistic care, we strive to address immediate needs and provide spiritual, emotional, and practical assistance through various programs. This commitment to care is exemplified by the Pastoral Extension Team, a dedicated group of experienced lay pastors passionate about walking alongside our LAC members. The team is committed to building meaningful relationships, offering encouragement, and supporting those facing challenges in their lives. Their hearts are open, and their skills are honed, making them invaluable partners in creating a nurturing church environment.

Our Care Ministries focus on several key areas, including support for senior adults as well as individuals and families of all ages facing various challenges. Whether you are navigating personal struggles, health issues, or simply seeking connection, our services are designed to meet you where you are. We also offer various support groups to provide a safe space for individuals to find understanding and encouragement in their specific journeys. By weaving care into every facet of church life, we commit ourselves to creating a community where no one suffers alone. We encourage our LAC members to cultivate a culture of care, engaging in meaningful relationships that reflect the love and teachings of Christ. Our care is anchored in the Holy Bible, guiding our actions and reminding us of our responsibility to pray, love, and serve one another. Furthermore, we believe that caring for one another embodies true discipleship, as it reflects our commitment to follow Jesus’s example of love, compassion, and service.
